Everyone needs a little mental vacation, especially in the middle of a pandemic, when the smartest thing to do is stay home. Designed for a virtual knitting cruise to Hawaii, the Waikoloa Beach Shawl is a beautiful three color crescent, started from the top and worked down in a trio of happy colors. The slip stitch section represents waves leaving their prints on a white sand beach, and as you knit further out to sea, you’ll encounter bubbles and rippling currents. Bon voyage!

This shawl is part of my 9 Lives eBook. Though the book itself is based on a palette of greys and golds, I’ve added in this shawl as a little vacation for your eyes as well as your soul.
About the eBook subscription: the nine shawl patterns in the eBook will be delivered within a subscription period ending May 31, 2021. There is no specific delivery date for each pattern. All patterns will have charts and written instructions, and there will be one, two and three color patterns in different weights of yarn.
