**Yarn**
Fingering weight yarn
Approximately 840 yards / 770 m
3 skeins of amirisu Trek (100% merino wool; 382 yards / 350 m,
100g)

**Needles**
A US 6 (4.0 mm) 24” / 60 cm (or longer) circular needle
Or, needles required to obtain gauge

**Gauge (after blocking)**
22 stitches & 24 rows = 4”/10 cm in St st with US 6 (4.0 mm) needle

**Sizes**
Width, tip to tip including ruffle: 85” / 215 cm
Depth, including ruffle: 26” / 66 cm

**Notes**
Shawl is knitted from side to side, then stitches are picked up from
each garter ridge along the shaped edge. The ruffle is knitted from
the picked up stitches.
Several charts, each with 12 rows, are used in the following
pattern. Charts A and B are used in the first (increase) side, and
Charts C and D are used in the second (decrease) side. After the
initial set-up rows, sections are broken into 12 row increments,
with instructions on order of charts used in each row.

**Note**
本体は横向きに編み, ガーターの畝から目を拾いフリルを編む.
パターン内に12段一模様のチャートが出てくるが、チャートA, Bはショール前半(増目)部分に, チャートC, Dは後半(減目)部分に用いる. 始めのセットアップ段のあとは12段ごとにそれぞれの段で用いるチャートを示しながら説明している.
