For years, I had a virtual egg hunt through my patterns on Ravelry. So since I’m not doing it this year, Egg Hunt! just seemed like the perfect name for these simple and scrappy socklets. It’s for all of us who love stripes, but hate the jog at the beginning of the round. There are some great jogless join techniques (and I’ve written my favorite into several patterns), but this fun sock pattern includes instructions for the lazy way to camouflage that jog. Because sometimes it’s nice just to relax and not think about it, don’t you think?
The sample is worked with a bunch of contrasting colors along with the master color, but the pattern is written for two colors, so you can choose your own style. I worked these completely randomly as I was going along, and they were fun and relaxing.
