Shaped as a generous half Pi shawl, Winter’s Moon celebrates the frosty nights of the year, when moonlight shines across a shimmering expanse of crystalline white.

The shawl starts at the back of the neck and is worked to the edge, where a knitted on edging is used to finish the lace off. The yarn called for in the pattern is very stretchy with tons of memory, so a larger needle than usual was used to counteract the fabric not taking a block. If a different yarn is used, a different (likely smaller) needle may need to be substituted.
